I'm Such a Girl For The Living Room. I Really Like To Stay In My Nest And Not Move

 

Short entry.Make it fast Sarah!!

Ok. Me duduk menyewa sorang-sorang saja. Sudah cuba cari housemate di mudah.com dan sangat mendapat sambutan. Tapi bila tiba masa orang datang nak tengok rumah, me tukar fikiran. Eh tak boleh lah ada orang asing didalam rumah. Rasa kekok untuk bergerak dan melalak. Yeayy lebih baik duduk sorang-sorang cakap dengan dinding dari duduk dengan orang asing entah dari planet mana kan. So setahun duduk sorang-sorang, isi rumah dah mula banyak. Dari ada bantal dan tilam saja dulu, sekarang dah ada macam-macam.

Ini bukan membazir for me, ini keselesaan. Kalau ada duit lebih dari beli bajuuuuuu je baik beli carpet ke, lampu ke, barang dapur ke. Kan? So that happen to me lately. Dapur pon dah penuh barang. Tapi bukan reti nak masak sangat pon. Tapi nak beli lebih-lebih cozy segala bagai kena tunggu beli rumah dulu la. Kalau setakat rumah sewa ni baik tak payah. Yang cozy-cozy tu tunggu me kawen bulan lapan ni ye insyaAllah.

Duduk berangan lah nak living room yang cozy and stylo tahap cipan kan. Duit tabung asik habis kat service kereta je HAHA. Hope one day bila dah ada rumah sendiri boleh dapat living room yang diidamkan. Amin.

Sekarang bersyukur dengan living room yang ada. Yang penting keperluan asas semua ada.Alhamdulillah.Tak cantik tak cozy tapi wangi tu ada. Langsir tu memang macam cikai sebab belum pasang penyangkut besi tu apa nama ek. Doakan me mampu untuk beli rumah cepat-cepat amin amin amin. Entah kenapa warna merah ni menyerap cepat dalam kehidupan.

Better A Red Face Than A Black Heart

 

Assalam and have a pleasant Thursday to all.Happy working too!!

Hari ni dah masuk hari kelima masalah leher. Dah pergi massage sebanyak dua kali. Dah sapu segala bagai minyak panas dan pati halia, cuma belum ke klinik saja. Mungkin malam ni akan ke klinik. Aku bilang, mungkin. Apalah nasib diri jenis takut ke klinik.

Okay kerusi merah pendek tersebut is my kerusi kat office. Ada yang warna hijau, ada yang warna kuning tetapi haruslah me amik yang merah kan. Since mengidap penyakit leher robot ni HAHA memang kena selalu sandar. Mula-mula sandar memang sakit, tapi lama-lama sangat selesa. So oleh kerana kerusi ni pendek tak sampai ke leher pon, me pon tukarlah kerusi.

Me amik kerusi tinggi macam kat bawah ni. Boleh sandar sambil buat kerja memang rasa macam bos lah! Leher boleh rehat dan tak perlu ada rasa lenguh dan sakit sepanjang hari. Bila leher dah kembali pulih, nanti me tukar ke kerusi pendek kembali. Tapi bila kepala boleh sandar baik di kerusi, mata pon baik punya mengantuk. Life Is A Journey

Life is a journey filled with lessons, hardships, heartaches, joys, celebrations and special moments that will ultimately lead us to our destination, our purpose in life. The road will not always be smooth; in fact, throughout our travels, we will encounter many challenges.

Some of these challenges will test our courage, strengths, weaknesses, and faith. Along the way, we may stumble upon obstacles that will come between the paths that we are destined to take. In order to follow the right path, we must overcome these obstacles. Sometimes these obstacles are really blessings in disguise, only we don't realize that at the time.

Along our journey we will be confronted with many situations, some will be filled with joy, and some will be filled with heartache. How we react to what we are faced with determines what kind of outcome the rest of our journey through life will be like.

When things don't always go our way, we have two choices in dealing with the situations. We can focus on the fact that things didn't go how we had hoped they would and let life pass us by, or two, we can make the best out of the situation and know that these are only temporary setbacks and find the lessons that are to be learned.

Time stops for no one, and if we allow ourselves to focus on the negative we might miss out on some really amazing things that life has to offer. We can't go back to the past, we can only take the lessons that we have learned and the experiences that we have gained from it and move on. It is because of the heartaches, as well as the hardships, that in the end help to make us a stronger person.
The people that we meet on our journey, are people that we are destined to meet. Everybody comes into our lives for some reason or another and we don't always know their purpose until it is too late. They all play some kind of role. Some may stay for a lifetime; others may only stay for a short while.

It is often the people who stay for only a short time that end up making a lasting impression not only in our lives, but in our hearts as well. Although we may not realize it at the time, they will make a difference and change our lives in a way we never could imagine. To think that one person can have such a profound affect on your life forever is truly a blessing. It is because of these encounters that we learn some of life's best lessons and sometimes we even learn a little bit about ourselves.

People will come and go into our lives quickly, but sometimes we are lucky to meet that one special person that will stay in our hearts forever no matter what. Even though we may not always end up being with that person and they may not always stay in our life for as long as we like, the lessons that we have learned from them and the experiences that we have gained from meeting that person, will stay with us forever.

It's these things that will give us strength to continue on with our journey. We know that we can always look back on those times of our past and know that because of that one individual, we are who we are and we can remember the wonderful moments that we have shared with that person.

Memories are priceless treasures that we can cherish forever in our hearts. They also enables us to continue on with our journey for whatever life has in store for us. Sometimes all it takes is one special person to help us look inside ourselves and find a whole different person that we never knew existed. Our eyes are suddenly opened to a world we never knew existed- a world where time is so precious and moments never seem to last long enough.

Throughout this adventure, people will give you advice and insights on how to live your life but when it all comes down to it, you must always do what you feel is right. Always follow your heart, and most importantly never have any regrets. Don't hold anything back. Say what you want to say, and do what you want to do, because sometimes we don't get a second chance to say or do what we should have the first time around.

It is often said that what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. It all depends on how one defines the word "strong" It can have different meanings to different people. In this sense, "stronger" means looking back at the person you were and comparing it to the person you have become today. It also means looking deep into your soul and realizing that the person you are today couldn't exist if it weren't for the things that have happened in the past or for the people that you have met. Everything that happens in our life happens for a reason and sometimes that means we must face heartaches in order to experience joy.

Life is a journey.

Success Usually Comes To Those Who Are Too Busy To Be Looking For It.

 

Assalam and good morning.Just wanna type a short entry here since I have too many tasks to do today. This week, I was so disorganized.  I can't remember what I was doing, but it took up a lot of time. A couple of things I need to mention before I proceed (because I keep forgetting): Underground Project & Cookies.

Underground Project.I’ve been involved with one underground project with one big Client in the universe.Like seriously.As the project scheduler, I need to come out with the most realistic schedule which in the mean time I know nothing about this project.HAHAHA.Just keep asking here and there until I am fully understand and they are fully sick and tired with me.HAHA no lah! Just stepped out from my Managing Director’s room.With one black pen and A4 paper in hand, I met him in his room with one objective : please explain everything about the project.

Actually, this blog entry is taking longer than it should because I became distracted by phone calls.Ok, cookies.Umm I’ll update the cookies story next time.Need to settle down one issue before going out for lunch.

10 Ways To Look Busy At Work

1)  Write “stuff” down.

So, here’s the first thing you need to look busy: you need to get yourself a sharp looking notepad.  I don’t really care about the color nor whether or not it’s 25% recycled, just get a classy lookin’ notepad and a pen.  And write stuff down all the time.  Whenever it occurs to you.  Whether you’re actually making an ongoing grocery list or a new song comes through on Pandora that you want to take note of, yeah, write that down!  It looks really good to be the constant note taker.  You’re obviously coming up with important numbers and ideas and figures that are so crucial they cannot risked being entrusted to the human mind and must be put on paper.  Of course, you always need to keep one sheet full of actually useful stuff.  That way whenever anyone walks by, you can conveniently flip to the “real” page.

2)  Always look “slightly frazzled.”

Someone with an impeccably neat desk who sits calmly and has a graceful aura just isn’t someone properly busy.  Try to keep at least two projects spread out on your desk.  Don't line up your stapler and tape dispenser perfectly.  Not tacky, just appropriately stating: “I’m kinda swamped here, in case you didn’t notice.” 

3) Prepare your “screen” in advance.

Open up various “important” screens you use in a normal day, Word, Excel, Google Analytics, etc., take a screen shot and save it.  This way you can throw it up in an instant when caught unprepared doing nothing better than YMing.

4) Schedule “meetings” in the conference room.

Do this whenever possible. It looks like you’re discussing strategy, that’s what counts.  And, it looks like you have loads of meetings.  Got a potential client?  Bring him in for a face-to-face.  Employers never see you on the phone, and if they do, they probably correctly guess it’s the boyfriend/girlfriend calling to see what should be next on the Netflix queue.  Meetings in the conference room, those get noticed.  Side note: take personal calls in the conference room as well.  Oh, and take lots of notes while you’re discussing potential dinner ideas on the phone in the conference room.  It just looks good.  And important.

5)  Network

You’ve gotta capitalize on the ability to mention projects (big, small, tiny) to as many people as possible.  I’m not saying be obnoxious, just mention whenever you possibly can that you’re “kinda” involved in various projects.  At the water fountain, in the break room, etc.  Word gets around.  “Oh, really, I heard he was working on ____, he’s working on _____ too?”  Wow, that guy is BUSY!  Bingo.

6)  Ask for a new program or software.

So, odds are really good you won’t get it.  But, that’s not what matters at all.  What matters is that you’re showing that you’re so busy and making such leaps and bounds that this new, awesome-amazing software for the pros is needed for THIS company!  Who doesn’t want to go home and brag that “We’ve come so far, we need the big-gun stuff now!”?  (Even if we can’t afford it.)

7)  Occasionally, do some work from home.

Okay, maybe once or twice.  Every now and then, send your boss an e-mail from home, or post something at an odd hour that will catch their attention.  Like, update the numbers at 11:20 p.m.  Even if you did nothing at work all day, they’ll see that and think you were so busy at work that now you’re burning the midnight oil too.  Magic.

8)  Carry props.

Everywhere you go, take a folder, a notebook or a calendar with you.  The bigger stack of stuff you carry, the better.  Oh, and keep a quick pace when you’re walking anywhere.  People in a hurry are always busy.  Eat or pretend to eat lots of fruit and veggies.  Busy people always seem to be eating healthy too.  Weird.

9)  Ask for a meeting with your boss, weeks in advance.

Got nothing on your calendar for the next month?  Who cares!  Tell your boss you’d like to discuss goals with him (for that matter, go ahead and toss the word “goals” into conversations whenever possible”) and ask for two week lead time.  Busy busy.  Also, for the record, you do need to have something to discuss.  But don’t worry, you’ve got two weeks to come up with it.

10)  Just be busy.

When all else fails, heck, just go ahead and try being busy.  Maybe you’ll find it’s not so bad after all.  Maybe.   Or you can also learn how to waste time from an expert.

Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover

 

Assalam. Happy working on this great Tuesday.Before I go further let me share something with you guys.

“The 71st Muzakarah (Conference) of the Fatwa Committee of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs Malaysia held on 22nd-24th November 2005 has discussed the ruling on Muslims celebrating Valentine’s Day. The Conference decided that the teachings of Islam stress on love and there is no specific day in Islam to celebrate it.

Therefore, The Conference decided that the practice of celebrating Valentine’s Day is not part of Islam. The spirit of the celebration contains elements of Christianity and its practice that is mixed with sinful acts is prohibited and contradicts with Islam.”

A few days ago I went to Rompin, Pahang to usha-usha the best venue for our staff day.That’s what staff day committee do rite? I went there with my partner haha it was unplanned trip actually.Everything went well tapi hujan sangat lebat mencurah-curah. First destination was Lanjut Golden Beach & Golf Resort. Tapi masa me datang tu, sales manager cuti plak so me tak dapat nak usha tempat ni lebih-lebih.Siapa yang sukakan kesunyian boleh la datang bercuti kat sini.Memang sesuai untuk honeymoon.Jarak resort sangat dekat dengan pantai dan angin memang sepoi-sepoi bahasa lah.

Tak dapat nak berjalan ke pantai dek hujan lebat sangat.For more info boleh google okey.Tapi seriously tempat ni memang menarik untuk honeymoon. I love the ‘sunyi sepi takda orang kacau’ mood yang ada kat sini.

Selepas 40 minit jalan-jalan di Lanjut, kami gerak ke Rompin Beach Resort.Jarak antara kedua-dua tempat ni dalam 20 minit saja.Mula-mula sampai kat sini me macam tak tertarik pon.Tapi bila disambut baik oleh staff disini, I felt wahhhhhhhh!! Depa bawa ronda-ronda seluruh kawasan termasuk tengok kondisi bilik dan chalet, dewan besar, pantai, games area and etc. Sebelum balik me dihidang pula dengan chicken chop mak aiii. Terima kasih!!

So as for now, Rompin Beach Resort is on the top list for our staff day. Satu perkara me belajar dari perjalanan ni, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. Tempat ni memang kelihatan biasa, tapi apa yang pihak resort dapat offer sangatlah menarik. Me tak suggest this resort for honeymoon, tapi kalau yang nak bawak keluarga jalan-jalan boleh lah!

Bollywood Nite Grand Dinner

Hey remember my previous entry regarding abaya? Ok just forget about it.My CEO just changed the dinner theme to Bollywood Nite. Haiyakkk what to wear huh?? Sari?? Currently I cannot think of anything else except sari.Please gimme ideas girls. Berapa harga satu pasang sari? Berapa harga sewa sari? Kalau sewa,wangi ke tak sari tu? Tak tercapai akal bila pikir menda ni.Normal kot.

I'm going to go ahead and post the short version of this story for the simple reason that it's still too fresh to not be a little painful. Also, unless you are me it might be a little boring.I’m kinda busy with the office things lately.So much to do but so lil time HUHU.But I still manage to not stay back till night at the office.Oh please.I’m not that type of person unless the closing date is ‘tomorrow’.I have my social life with family and friends so please bare in your mind! And you know what, this one lady keep passing her tasks to me today.WTH??
